These (and some new glue) rejuvenated my old BCA skins. Went on easy. Used a dart to start the hole. Then a nail punch to widen it. Don't hammer the rivets. Squish them with channellocks.
I haven't yet used these in the field, but the process of trimming these skins to fit my board worked well...barring one concern.
I purchased these older model Pomoca/Jones skins because they were heavily discounted. Because they were a larger size than I needed, I bought the Pomoca branded tail assembly, cut the skins to size (cut off the Jones tail straps), and then riveted on the new Pomoca tails. I then removed the Jones-specific tail hook 'clip' from the original tails and applied it to the new tails (replacing the Pomoca while/plastic one designed for skis).
My only concern is the method of attaching the new tail to the now cut-to-size skins. The 4 rivets used were already a bit of a concern, as they do not look as secure as the original stitching. Furthermore, when hammering them in place, the fit wasn't perfect/flush on any of them. I was pretty careful to do this correctly.
Nevertheless, I'm confident they'll work, but at the first sign of any tearing i'll probably try and stitch them in the original manner (done by Jones).
