Cripple Creek to open at the base of Beaver Creek and Aspen Highlands!
We have been working hard and we are incredibly excited to announce our new store fronts at the bases of Beaver Creek and Aspen Highlands. These locations offer great access to safe uphill routes for new ski tourers to try the sport. Cripple Creek Avon has been a project of ours for months and we are excited to offer fully staffed hours by Friday November 29th. However, we will be in the store working furiously to get it open every day until then so stop by to see the new gear or make an appointment here.
We are also excited to announce our new partnership with Aspen Expeditions. We equip more skiers every year with backcountry aspirations and we wanted to create a safe experience for getting them involved. At both the Highlands and Avon locations, we will be able to book our guests directly with a certified guide to keep skiers traveling safely when outside the ski resort. Whether it is a day of backcountry skiing, an intro course to up-hilling or a ski trip around the world, we've got you covered.
Although we are growing fast to take on the growing demand for ski touring equipment, knowledge and education, Cripple Creek Backcountry is run by a small and dedicated staff that moves fluidly between all 4 locations. Our crew works hard to stay in front of the ever changing ski touring and splitboarding scene!
