A binding worth every penny, the Helio 200 is a do everything work horse that will get you up and down anything you put it through. This binding has spent some time in R&D and the wait was worth it.
Starting with the toes, the new Helio 200 is designed with an easy entry step in system to give you a new toe geometry which makes even the most worn out boots step in with ease. As an added bonus to the design, the Helio 200 has an uphill toe locking variation system that allows for a clamp designed for the strength of the user.
The Heel tower was built around being as lightweight as it is user friendly and durable. The Helio 200 uses an ATK R01 adjustment plate that provides the lightest weight possible and still allows for 30mm of movement. The heel flaps provide 3 levels of climbing height, a flat mode, 36mm of rise and 50mm of rise. The Cam and rotational Release system gives you the added bonus of adjusting your heel for a DIN range 5-10 and provides both lateral and vertical release with one simple adjustment point.
The Helio 200 is designed for the lightest weight free tours, and with that means it comes brakeless. The binding comes standard with a Kevlar core leash to keep those puppies from running away from you when you're dropping big bad lines in the backcountry.
