Why We Like the Weston Rise Splitboard

The Weston Rise splitboard is a directional twin shape designed to give female splitboarders the capability to climb and descend with confidence anywhere on the mountain. The camber-dominant profile and 20mm setback allow riders to float the deepest powder days and remain comfortable spinning to ride switch anytime. The all-mountain split loves drops, steep terrain, and booters. Indeed, a splitboard inspires riders' confidence to test the limits in un-tracked terrain.

Take dawn patrol missions to the next level when conditions beg for some freestyle action. Mount this board duck-footed and drop into anything switch 180 to make your friends jealous. The Rise splitboard is built with an even rocker in the tip and tail so that riders have confident landings and edge hold.

The advanced sustainable tri-wood core paired with carbon stingers gives this splitboard lots of pop. When riding the Rise, we noticed that dependable edge hold and feel lets riders line up their next hit with confidence. The Rise's twin shape, camber profile, and shifted touring brackets makes touring uphill with this board insanely easy. Well balanced and surprisingly floaty, the Rise splitboard by Weston is a crowd favorite on piste and in the backcountry.

Rise Split Board- Great all around board to get into skinning.

The Rise Split Board is an exceptional choice for diving into the exhilarating realm of skinning. Having called Aspen, CO my home for over four years, I've discovered unparalleled joy in kicking off my mornings with this split board, ascending Buttermilk Mountain or Ajax before the workday begins. The experience of skinning up a meticulously groomed run not only offers a breathtaking start to the day but also serves as an effective means to fortify the muscles needed for venturing into powder-laden backcountry terrain.

Crafted with a camber-shaped design, the Rise Split Board proves its versatility by excelling in various conditions, from six inches of freshly fallen powder to challenging icy surfaces. This board seamlessly adapts, ensuring a remarkable performance regardless of the snowscape. Embrace the journey into the backcountry with confidence and style, as the Rise Split Board elevates your skinning adventures to new heights.

    Put into your quiver!

Hands down my favorite board for the backcountry. I put most my energy into the backcountry and I feel having a board that can handle all terrain, and snow conditions is most important. The Rise splitboard will handle cliff drops, steep couloirs, deep pow days, and everything in-between. I was lucky to have 75 human powered days this past winter and my Weston Rise was the board that helped me bag some peaks and some new lines! So stoked on this board and I know you will too!

    It's All True!!

The edge control on this board is unbelievable. I felt like I was on my solid but even better! The edges that are cambered just like they advertise, which is amazing especially for touring up hill. I took this board on a trial ride down the Dragon Tail Couloir in RMNP and I was so impressed with the control this board offers while jump turning on the steeps! It is so super light and really fun to ride switch when needed through the trees and funky terrain. I tried this in the deep powder of steamboat and the nose turned up just the right amount for slaying and staying afloat. Absolutely love this board!

I think the board I purchased for my daughter is too short. I would like to stop back to the shop and talk to JP.

Weston Rise Split Board and Spark ARC bindings

Cripple Creek Backcountry was great in helping answer my questions and set up my new Split board! Good deals with timing of sales and package deal. I love the Weston Rise, flexible and fun to ride. I like how lite weight it is with bindings. So easy to switch it up for skiing and riding. I could have gone longer for back country, 152 is my normal size, but I think this will help in narrow spots and trees. My only suggestion is to get the heel lock for the bindings from the start. It’s a separate purchase, but well worth it! I am loving earning my turns this shortened winter season.
