With a snug, but not suffocating fit, heat-moldable liner, and firm yet forgiving flex rating, the Backland Pro UL is an excellent choice for daily ski touring.

For skiers seeking a boot for fast and light ascents, whether on a day-long powder mission, or just getting a little exercise after work, the Backland Pro UL can handle it all. A smooth and forgiving 90 flex rating is powerful enough to handle variable terrain and snow conditions on lighter skis. The snug yet anatomical 98mm last provides excellent steering response, and many fit issues can easily be resolved with a quick heat mold of the Memory Fit liner. Friction-free pivots and 74 degrees of articulation in the cuff keeps things smooth and natural on the climbs. The Boa closure system hugs the foot evenly, creating great heel hold and micro-adjustability.

Rockin fit!!!

FINALLY a boot that fits well for my narrow feet! I've tried a bunch of different boots and finally found something that's comfortable and walks easy. I absolutely LOVE how it skis also. Easy to use and easy to ski. FYI I'm 140lbs 5'6", intermediate skier, 29 years old. I can't handle a super stiff boot and this is a great balance for my needs skinning in the backyard backcountry area.
