The Hawx Ultra XTD series from Atomic has turned some heads with their super light construction, yet alpine-esque downhill performance. Inspired by the Downhill Hawx ski boot line, the XTD series features the same four buckle, overlap construction that feels very similar to a traditional Alpine boot when skiing. The XTD 100 is made of a softer plastic designed for lighter individuals or anyone who wants more 'touch' in their ski boots. When it's time to go uphill, however, the boot weighs a less than 1700 grams in a size 26, and boasts 54 degrees of articulation in the walk mode. With a taller cuff and fully heat-moldable liner, this boot promises a comfortable, yet performance oriented fit that will maximize power transition to your skis.
