DPS took one of our favorite skis and made it even more versatile. Built on an updated C2 chassis, the all new Wailer 106 Alchemist is the manifestation of a fine tuned flex pattern, updated rocker profile, and optimized sidecut. The result is a ski that is the perfect daily driver for mixed conditions in the resort or the backcountry. Whether you're railing carved turns on a firm groomer or surfing bottomless snow, the updated shape is ideal. If the drastic rocker profile of other Wailer skis has scared you off, the Wailer 106 C2 offers a toned down version that translates to more stability and versatility when conditions aren't Totally Deep.
While the shape of the 106 received a massive upgrade, the legendary Alchemist Construction remains the same. Aspen wood core, carbon, and a full ABS sidewall give this ski an unmatched combination of energy and dampness. DPS builds their skis with race edges and bases which will hold up better against those pesky snow snakes. If you're looking for a daily driver in a region where it snows in feet rather than inches, then the Wailer 106 C2 is the perfect ski for you.

Have had these a few months now and mounted them with the Solomon Switch binding. Wanted a ski that would go up well but didn't want to skimp on the downhill. These fit the bill perfectly. I've skied them in powder, crud and groomers. They are lively in the powder and quick edge to edge on the groomers. They also have just enough mass to get thru the crud. Super happy with my purchase and the folks at Cripple Creek were great to work with in getting me set up.
