Racing is what Dynafit's DNA is composed of, and the DNA is the race day ski for many of the fastest in the world. Whether you aspire to that level or simply to be your fastest, this featherweight should be on your shortlist.
It's cool to see how the different lines within a brand borrow and learn from each other. We have seen the weight savings techniques from the race and speed line skis influence the decreasing weights of ski mountaineering and freeride skis over the years. With the DNA and PDG race skis, we have the opposite effect. The race skis now take on the 3D shaping and flex tip from the bigger skis in order to improve downhill performance.
The aluminum notched tips make for bomber and quick skin attachments. The pin tails slide quickly into race pack ski loops so that you can attack that booter instead of fester with packing the skis.
And with all of these cool features, what about weight? How does under 700 grams sound? For the paulowina race core (specific to the DNA) Dynafit sorts through and selects only about 10% of the available wood to ensure you get the lightest possible core for this race day marvel. Cap construction keeps them light and nimble. Minimum weight, maximum performance- speed up.

These skis are insanely light. After plenty of laps up and down some Northeast hot spots, these skis have proven to be awesome. They climb like you’re wearing a sneaker and ski even the crappiest junk without excessive chatter. They’re easy to control and turn well.
It wouldn’t be right to leave a review without talking about the customer care these folks provide. It was great to be able to talk to folks who know racing and know their gear. They gave me solid info and recommendations. I am incredibly happy with my order and am loving the new gear. Thanks Cripple Creek!
