The Dynafit free tour series is specifically designed for the North American backcountry ski adventurer. The company recognized the need for more robust skis (made with wood cores) that still climbed exceedingly well and could rip in any condition. The result is the Meteorite ski, a 97 mm underfoot ski that weighs 1820 grams. It plays off the popular Chugach and Hokaido free tour skis. Construction wise, the ski has full ABS vertical sidewalls, an ash-poplar core and carbon speed stringers, allowing it to handle any classic "North American variable" on piste and off. Dynafit also added 2 mm of extra camber underfoot which is designed to provide that crucial pop at the end of the turn which engages the skier readily into the next turn without compromising any planing in soft snow.
- Full vertical sidewalls for ripping in any condition; on-piste or off.
- Damp ski for high speed stability
- Speed tip and tail attachments for easy transitions
