We have decided to go direct to the source for this amazing boot! The Race 400 is the upgrade from the the Dynafit RC1 and the Pierre Gignoux Morpho. Simply the lightest skimo boot in the world. Pierre Gignoux is a world cup racer and held the Mount-Blanc ski mountaineering record in 5 hours 15 minutes. He has a doctorate in Biomechanics and worked in R&D for Rossignol for ten years before starting his own company in 2006. The lightweight speed mountaineering game changed when Gignoux released his boots.
The Race 400 is incredibly light, 400 grams without the liner, and provides the competitive edge you need for the skimo racing circuit. It is handmade of Carbon Fiber and Kevlar with a Vibram sole. Incredible cuff articulation and a simple flip lock for walk and ski mode. No frills, just a simple, solid, lightweight racing boot.
