The most versatile everyday touring ski in the Dynafit line, specifically designed for women. Tour 88 has a poplar/paulownia wood core that is milled out in certain areas to provide a more accurate flex for the smaller skier. Furthermore, the ski sizes down to a 158 for the more petite girls who send it uphill and down.
The Tour 88 is light at about 1300 grams depending on length. Your legs will thank you once you reach the top of your skin and its time to ski what you came for. The lightness is achieved by the 3D construction in which dynafit removes material in non critical areas. The full length sidewall is mini height in order to reduce weight. Finally, the paulownia half of the wood core ensures that you have one of the lighter skis out there.
The poplar half of the wood core gives the Tour line it's pop and stiffness. And while that sidewall is mini, it is full length on the ski and provides dampening in variable conditions. Dynafit's 3D early rise tip construction reduces vibration and tip flop. A turn radius around 16m makes the Tour 88 nimble in trees and tight spaces.
Low angle cruises, hut trips, and peak bagging missions will all be in the wheel house for these planks.
