Quiver Slot: Fast and Light
As far as race skis go Hagan has always been at the front of the pack, but now they are bursting on the speed touring ski with the Chimera Y-Flow. The Y or Wai flow is a serious contender for that elusive quiver of 1. With 300mm of rocker shovel and 87 mm in the waist it has the float for the powder but at only 1180 grams it will be one of the lightest skis on the market. This is a superlite ski that is ready to take on adverse conditions and ski aggresive lines. The Hagan Chimera series of skis is known for its solid yet lightweight construction. Even Backcountry Magazine has taken notice, placing it on their Select List for 2014.
