The marketers who come up with ski names probably hope that when you hear or read the words "vapor" and "float" as a ski name it brings to mind those early mornings when you have first tracks in the freshest, lightest, coldest snow. The type of snow that will melt down into only a teaspoon of water despite filling the pot and is only heard as a whisp when you careen down the slope, playfully bouncing from turn to turn. We are here to tell you that when you hold this ski, your mind will have a hard time conjuring anything but what those marketers envisioned- you on top of the Floats, with a large bowl of powder snow spread out before you. The Float is 117 mm underfoot making it ideal for fast and light powder tours. Astoundingly, the ski weighs in at 1,400 grams. Both the tip and tail have rocker giving the ski a reliable feel. As with the other skis in the vapor line, the float was built with carbon nanotube technology allowing for massive weigh savings, yet strong torsional rigidity.
