Favorite Sports: Ultra runner, Skimo Racer, Ski Mountaineering
My First Tour: It was in day trekkers more like day wrekkers (I don't no how you spell that) My first tour was in Grand Teton National Park GTNP and I'm pretty sure when I got to the top of our climb I sat down and ate two snicker bars.My skins didn't really fit my skis so they came off a lot and I slid down every switchback. I remember feeling really worked over and could not wait to go lay down in my bed.
My Most Epic Day on Skis: I went on a trip the the Sawtooths and skied one of the 50 classic ski descents of North America a line called the Sickle. It was by far the scariest line I have ever skied. Most people rappel the first 100 ft however we did not have a rope. It's super steep and has an ice wall on the left side of the couloir. It was a line that changed my perspective of steep skiing.
Future Objectives: I think I will try and make one more US team and participate at World Championships in 2017. I really see myself applying what I have learned and gain from skimo racing and using it more in the mountains. I have a big project coming up for the 2016 season and if and when that happens I will be more than happy to share you will just have to wait :)
My Perfect Setup: Voile Vector 160 92 underfoot, Dynafit TLT 6 boot, Dynafit Speed Radical
