Quiver Slot: Fast and Light touring, Ski Mountaineering
Nanga Parbat, the 9th highest peak in the world, translates to mean “Naked Mountain.” The design for this ski was born out of Dynafit athlete, Luis Stitzinger’s mish to climb and ski the Naked Mountain. Stitzinger knew it would be a “fall you die” descent so a worthy ski would have to be perfect. His experience led to a design that used tried and true technology as well as some revolutionary new design. As with all Dynafit products, the first highlight is weight, with the Nanga Parbat weighing in at only 1000 grams. The NP has a scoop tip rocker and tail rocker for easy turn initiation and a triple turn radius that allows high load directly over the binding and delivers excellent edge hold on steep icy slopes. Looking for a light ski for technical descents or just to make laps at the local hill, this is the ski.
