The Gea 1.0 is back and better than ever, with new better buckles, beefier power strap, and an easier and more reliable ski to walk mode. The Gea is cut from the same cloth as one of the most popular AT boots of all time, the Maestrale. The Gea was designed such that it offers you a fit that is anatomically correct for a women’s foot. Say goodbye to pressure points and cold feet with the Intuition Pro Flex liner that comes standard in all of these boots. The Gea is a four-buckle boot that makes heading uphill a breeze, weighing in at under 3 lbs with 40 degrees of cuff articulation. On the way down you’ll have a smile ear-to-ear, making great turns with ease due to the innovative Alpine Axial design providing both overlap and tongue style construction. The short of it is, these boots are warm, light, comfortable, easy to get in and out of and ski very well. It’s also nice to know that Scarpa used the plant-based Rnew Pebax plastic.
