The Carbon Synapse is back and even sweeter. Designed for the backcountry powder we all get into the sport for and mercifully cost effective. Let's talk about powder. 101 in the waist is certainly as wide as you need for a dreamy float and the signature shovel on the long early rise tips keeps you on top of the world. Minimal camber and an early rise tail complete the profile of a sexy ski made for soft snow. But yet....the poplar and paulownia carbon-wrapped core combine stiffness and lightness and the turns jump right out of the shapely side cuts and early rise tip/tail combination. Pretty exciting stuff. A newly implemented polyurethane sidewall makes for a seamless ride far damper than before while retaining lightness and durability. She's a real beauty this season.
