Why We Like the Weston Range Splitboard

The Weston Range Splitboard is an all-mountain, twin freestyling machine made to open up your backcountry horizons. This board is built for duck foot riders who have no fear and want to ride switch down big lines or spin in the air. A well-balanced tip and tail and rocker, all the way through the tip and tail, allows riders to still float in the powder. The Tri-Wood core and laminated carbon stringers give this deck a ton of pop for that freestyle ride.

Camber underfoot gives riders confidence on more significant, steeper lines as they hunt for freeride sections. The subtle flat rocker through the tip and tail provides additional float and playfulness without sacrificing stability. A splitboard can handle cliffs and booters like a park board but ride steep couloirs easily.

Don't underestimate how well the Weston Range splitboard rides in steeps and powder. It truly shines and gives riders the joy of knowing that there's a true twin on the market that can take them to any snowy playground and not disappoint. The all-mountain camber gives riders the edge-hold they need to ride with confidence knowing they won't wash out this uniquely playful splitboard.

    Big Mountain Weapon

I've been riding the range splitboard for years now and it has become my weapon of choice whether I'm out guiding or slaying big lines. This board has incredible edge hold and the 20mm setback helps out on these deep powder days. Great choice in any conditions you may encounter out in the backcountry. It's an amazing twin shape with the perfect amount of stiffness. Playful, great pop, and also great for the big mountain rider. A great plus about having a true twin split is if you had to ride switch momentarily to be on your toe side for a more secure edge hold on a steep traverse in consequential terrain.

Versatility has never been so fun

This is a true weapon and one of my favourite splitboards of all time. I'm 6' 165lbs and ride the 161W and am never worried about floatation with this twin. The boards floats like a directional board but performs like a free ride board, with butters, spins, and switch riding being second nature on this ride. The board is bombproof though not invincible... I did eventually break it landing on a rock after launching a large cliff. I'm still riding it as an early season rockboard 3 years later even though the core is broken. I loved this board so much I bought the solid version, and will likely get another split once I have more room in the quiver.

I guided close to 100 days on this board last season and it never let me down. No matter the conditions, it was up for the challenge. I love that I can ride switch on it and make the most of the playful terrain. When the conditions are good to go it's ready to step it up to the bigger terrain. It holds an edge well while riding steep and icy conditions and also on the skin track. My favorite thing though is that it DURABLE! I took this board on a 130 mile traverse and not only did it handle all the crazy conditions like a champ, but it held up great to the abuse.

Range Split is a sick kit

Absolutely love the Range split. I toured mostly around Summit County CO on the 61. It is such a sweet ride. On the tracks it is smooth and stable. It rides like a dream with camber in the right spots and early rise tip and tail. Carbon stringers mean it has mean pop and makes awesome turns. It is a great board for freestyling in the bx and I recommend a wide version to keep size down for big riders. I can ride the 58w as opposed to a 66 (my normal big mtn split) at 6'3" 155lbs. All around slayer here.

    Great split for freeriders!

This board is built for people that like to huck themselves off of drops and big cliffs. Heck maybe even a spin here and there. I’ve been on this split the past 3 seasons and I really love it for steep couloirs and freeriding. Being able to ride it switch is a big plus if you’re into that sort of thing.
