The Scarpa Maestrale RS Alpine Touring Boot is coming in hot as the ideal compromise between downhill performance and touring functionality, but the beautiful thing about Scarpa is they eliminate the need to even compromise on one of those extremes. Scarpa worked tirelessly to develop the new Lambda Frame Shell and Thor Cuff composed of ECO-friendly Pebax Renew plastic, which is bi-injected with two different stiffnesses of Pebax for fantastic all-around performance (125 flex). Around the cuff, you will find a lighter-weight tongue and a new Speed Lock XT ski/ walk mechanism that is built for faster transitions.
Some features of stoke include the 60 degrees of frictionless articulation and lightweight construction allowing you to breeze your way into the heart of the backcountry. Yet if conditions aren’t stable and the risk is too high, you can lap the resort with your bros as the Maestrale offers an incredible power transmission, allowing you to drive bigger skis. This is due in part to the wave closure forefoot buckle, heel locking ankle strap, and precision-fit Intuition liner.
