Why We Like the Tecnica Zero G Peak Alpine Touring Boot

The Tecnica Zero G Peak Alpine Touring Boot represents Tecnica's foray into the sub-1000 gram touring boot world. However, unlike many boots, Tecnica's primary goal was to make a boot that skis well. Like their older Zero G line, the Peak boots are made to drive skis aggressively, ark high-speed turns, and take on the steepest biggest lines. To this end, the Zero G Peak is a downhill performance boot masquerading as a lightweight speed-touring and ski mountaineering machine. Tecnica used a lightened version of their double locking walk mechanism, called the T-Hike, to give a progressive yet strong flex and bomber cuff connection. The co-injected carbon and grilamid construction further stiffens the boot and gives a lateral stiffness that will let you hold an edge in even the gnarliest conditions. They've also added a carbon reinforced sole for 10% more torsional rigidity. Unlike other lightweight boots, the C.A.S. shell is fully punchable and thermo customizable, so a wide range of foot shapes are accommodated. Sacrifice nothing and squeeze every ounce of joy out of your next tour with the Tecnica Zero G Peak Alpine Touring Boot.
