Why We Like the ATK Raider 13 Evo Touring Binding
ATK is renowned for its continual advancement in the production of ski touring bindings, developing stronger, lighter, and more ergonomic models with each new release. For 2023 they have unveiled the Freeraider/Raider Evo range, built upon the already successful Raider and Freeraider models, but now also featuring two new beneficial features.
ATK has introduced a new automated heel unit and ski brake system, replacing the manual option with a metal button on the side. This transition is quicker and more efficient, and most importantly, keeps skis from slipping away unintentionally if the skins have been removed.
Release Adjustment Toe Piece
Unlike other bindings, the ATK Raider 13 Evo Touring Binding is equipped with adjustable toe as well as heel unit DIN release, offering a revolutionary toe piece design for a unified and reliable release action. Skiers can expect a binding offering complete control and stability with a 5-13 DIN release range and 25 mm boot length adjustment, with an incredibly lightweight design of just 370 g per ski. The Raider 13 Evo is compatible with the ATK Freeride Spacer and offers adjustability of ski brake widths from 86-120 mm.
