Why We Like the Salomon QST 106 ECHO Alpine Touring Ski
You asked, we answered: a touring-specific evolution of the iconic QST line.
The QST Echo 106 combines a karuba/poplar core, superlight basalt fibers,
and cork damplifier, for a lighter, livelier, go-anywhere backcountry ski. We kept
the 106mm waist to rally in all conditions, while raising our commitment to
sustainability with recycled materials.
ULTRALIGHT CORE & CONSTRUCTION
A featherlight karuba/poplar core combined with basalt
fibers and cork damplifier in the tip and tail result in a
lightweight ski that excels on the uphill.
CONFIDENCE-INSPIRING RIDE
Cork damplifier in the tip and tail combined basalt fibers
throughout offer stability at speed, while the karuba/
poplar core creates a lively and responsive ride.
A MOVE TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY
The QST Echo 106 is made from 30% recycled
topsheet materials and 100% recycled ABS in the
double sidewalls, for a step towards a more eco-friendly
ski.
