Why We Like the Ortovox Haute Route 32
The Ortovox Haute Route 32 is one of the most comfortable and versatile ski touring packs. The Haute Route has 32 liters of space for everything you may need for midwinter touring, long spring objectives, or even a multi-day hut trip. The roomy main compartment is accessible from both the top and back, and a separate pocket for a shovel and probe ensures quick access to avy gear. The O-Flex-2 frame has load control cords and an S-shaped stabilizer to optimize weight distribution for maximum comfort, while the padded hip belt wraps seamlessly around the waist.
This pack has numerous fastening options that make it practical for big days in the mountains. You can choose diagonal or A-frame carry for skis. Additionally, there are fasteners for a snowboard or snowshoes. The Haute Route has crampon fastening, ice axe and hiking pole loops, and an integrated helmet net. It has additional gear loops, a chest strap with whistle, a compression strap for lighter loads, and a map compartment. It is incredibly durable and water resistant.
