DPS Does it again! (Update)

UPDATE:
Thes skis are simple amazing! Took the Lotus 124's on the heli ski trip with Chugach Powder Guides on 3/20 and all I can say is that these skis will do anything you want them to do in any depth of powder. Maneuverability and the float is phenomenal combined with the Spoon technology just creates that boat hull to cut through untouched powder or tracked powder. You name it and these skis do it! DPS recommended MINUS 1 (that's right) for a mounting position (mounted the Kingpin's there) and I couldn't agree more! I highly recommend adding these skis to one's ski quiver and when it dumps powder on your favorite place, put them on and have a blast all day long!

ORIGINAL POST:
These are the "DPS Lotus 124 Spoon Alchemist” which are the pure carbon skis for 2018. Being very familiar with DPS skis (Wailer 112 RP2 Pure3, Wailer 99 Hybrid), these are a pure joy when it comes to any depth of powder, but the surprise was the ability to even ski them on groomed trails! They really float extremely well on the powder and can make any turn you desire with ease. The real test for these skis will be next week on a weekend Heli trip in back my backyard of AK and I’ll try to remember to update this review. While the Wailer 112 RP2 Pure3 are my go to backcountry ski and all around ski, the Lotus 124 Spoon Alchemist are a wonderful addition to my ski quiver and will be fitted with a set of skins for the backcountry and used when the next dump of snow comes down in the pass! Can’t wait!
