There are those who prefer to keep it light and those who prefer to CHARGE! The Beast is for those who want to ski as hard in the Backcountry as they do at the resort. The Beast 16 is the first ever Backcountry Tech Binding to be awarded TUV Certification. The Beast 16 has a DIN of 6-16 and rotating toe for constant release values and significantly reduced occurrence of the dreaded early release. This binding is designed for the aggressive Freeride tourer looking to ski big lines out of bounds with little compromise in weight. At only 950 grams this binding is lighter than and far outperforms any other binding that touts that high a release value. The Beast 16 includes some upgrades this year including a new rear pivot point system for torsional rigidity and new heel insert for stability and a DIN of 16.
